RELEASE

In consideration of admission to and use of the facilities and participation in the activities offered, organized, sponsored, or presented by or on behalf of Compass Christian Church, Inc., an Arizona Non-profit Corporation (“CCC”), the undersigned, for himself or herself and for his or her minor child, children or wards listed below (each a “Participant”), hereby ASSUMES ANY AND ALL RISK OF INJURY of any type or kind, including but not limited to any injury arising from CCC’s negligence, and hereby irrevocably releases CCC’s members, principals, elders, officers, directors, agents, pastors, subcontractors, and employees from any and all claims, causes of action, actions, demands, costs, attorneys’ fees, expenses, medical expenses and damages of any type or kind, resulting from, relating to, or arising by reason of admission to or use of the facilities or participation in any such activity. Without limiting the foregoing, the undersigned specifically agrees as follows:

SKATE SPORTS

Skateboarding and rollerblading are inherently dangerous activities that involve the possibility of significant injury, including permanent disability and death, and severe economic and social losses. Such injuries and losses might result not just from the actions or inactions of the Participant, but also from the negligence of CCC, conditions of the skating surface, including without limit, uneven surfaces, chipped surfaces, blunt or sharp edges, the presence of debris and other unknown conditions, improperly maintained or inadequate equipment, inadequate supervision, over use of the facility, the actions of third parties, and other causes not known to CCC or not foreseeable. Undersigned, for him or herself and for each Participant, hereby ASSUMES ANY AND ALL OF THE FORGOING RISKS. Undersigned and each Participant is hereby warned, authorized, and strongly encouraged to inspect the skating surface and facilities prior to each use thereof and to refuse to use the facilities if any of the forgoing conditions or other dangerous conditions are present. Undersigned hereby acknowledges that there are numerous other skate sport facilities in the general vicinity that do not require undersigned or Participant to expressly release or limit the liability of the operator. Undersigned hereby authorizes and consents to each Participant’s use of CCC’s skate sports facilities.
